The most interesting events for the end of April in Milan

After a hard beginning of the month, finally Milan is welcoming spring: days have turned longer and warmer temperatures make you feel like being in the open air, enjoying the city under the first lukewarm sunbeams.

Today we’ll take you at the discovery of the most interesting events of the end of April in Milan!

Like every year, the Salone del Mobile, the most important international design and furniture window, has come back to liven up Milan until 22 April thanks to the Fuorisalone: the main city quarters turn into places of events, artistic installations, exclusive parties, exhibitions and openings, all in the name of design.

The main areas where to discover the Fuorisalone are Brera, Zona Tortona and the Ventura District: here you can find the most interesting installations and events.

Even if the Salone del Mobile is almost over, this weekend will set aside still numerous surprises: find here the complete list of the events divided by zone!

Since the first editions, of which we talked here, the East Market has become a standing appointment beloved by the Milanese citizens.

On Sunday 29 April the East Market is coming back in Via Ventura with vintage stalls, music and street food. Browse among the vinyl stands, buy a vintage print or a fashionable jacket, and taste good Hawaiian sashimi or a chicken taco: East Market is all of this and more over!

Highline Galleria is the suspended path along the roofs of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. From here it’s possible to admire the city from above and almost touch the dome of the Galleria with your hands.

On this unique location, very interesting events are organized: happy hours, tasting, screenings and guided tours. On schedule until 6 May a finger-food tasting mozzarella-based combined with a good glass of sparkling wine.

Here you can discover the event details: don’t miss this multi-sensory experience and enjoy a 360° view over our Milan!

At Mare Culturale Urbano, in via Novara, you obviously won’t find the sea, but this Sixteenth-century farmhouse is going to make you forget to be in the city.

The inner courtyard and the restaurant make this farmhouse an ideal place for spring open-air nights. From 27 to 29 April “Il Festival delle Birrette” will take place: 3 days dedicated to artisanal beer tastings.

The event will be accompanied by the soundtrack from the masterpiece by David Lynch, Twin Peaks: 3 days of shared listening, narrative dj-sets and sound environments to relive the atmospheres typical of the cult series.

Of course this is just a selection of the numerous events that our city can offer: and you, what programmes do you have for these last days of April?
