As everyone knows, Milan is the undisputed capital city of happy hour and Milanese people like to make a big deal out of it: refined cocktails, high quality finger food and prestigious locations are a trademark by now.

This temperate and colourful fall is the right opportunity to explore our ritual in all its features: here some ideas for a special happy hour!

TERRAZZA APEROL

Located a few steps from the Duomo, Terrazza Aperol offers a charming view on the most loved Milanese square. Cocktails range from tradition to innovation and the formula for food is the gourmet version of the “tapas bar”. But the guest of honour, evoked by the specific orange design, is obviously her majesty, the Aperol Spritz.

Terrazza Aperol is easily reachable by feet from our Valpetrosa e Morone Apartments.

GLOBE

A necessary stage for those who are in the city, the Globe is placed at the eight floor of Palazzo Coin, in Piazza Cinque Giornate. From happy hour to after-dinner, with a wonderful view over the Piazza, here it’s possible to taste the delicacies by the Executive Chef Gianfranco Semenzato. The degustation of raw fish is a great classic for the Milanese people by now. Moreover, on Sunday, Globe prepares also brunch!

The Globe is few minutes away from our Spartaco Apartment.

TERRAZZA MARTINI

The Milanese people necessarily pass through the top floor in Piazza Diaz 7, at Terrazza Martini, and have been doing it since 1958. The luxurious setting and the innovative and international design make this place one of the city’s symbol, but be careful: the Terrazza opens only for private events. Anyway, trying your luck is recommended: admiring Milan from here is a unique emotion.

TERRAZZA TRIENNALE

The tour at the Triennale Design Museum is incomplete without a stop at its Terrazza.
The dishes by the top chef Stefano Cerveni are served in a transparent greenhouse surrounded by greenery. The view changes starting from the Bagni Misterosi by De Chirico and arriving to the Castello Sforzesco, up to embracing the whole Milan’s skyline.

CERESIO7

Located in Porta Garibaldi area, Ceresio7 is an elegant place, operational all day long: from the swimming pool in the morning to lunchtime, until the happy hour and after-dinner. After a drink by the pool, or in one of the two inner lounges, it’s recommended a break at the restaurant: the dishes are well-finished by the top chef Elio Sironi.

Ceresio7 is a few steps from our Ceresio Apartment.
